BIO
UK-born and Nashville-bred, J. Human is a collision of sound and style all his own. Drawing inspiration from such legendary artists as Stevie Wonder, John Legend, and Bruno Mars, J. Human’s distinctive blend of classic pop, dance floor R&B, and electric soul will have you moving, grooving, and loving just a little bit harder than you knew you could.
J. Human has played alongside a wide variety of acts including Miguel, The Shadowboxers, Smallpools, and 2 Live Crew. He recently performed his first two west coast shows, one at KAABOO Del Mar 2019 and the other at Madame Siam in Hollywood. As a writer, J. spent 3 years with Sony/ATV and has worked with Nathan Chapman, Kevin Kadish, Valerie Broussard, Jared Cotter, Stefan Lit, Allee Willis, and many others. J. also recently wrote “FOOL” for Alyson Stoner (released in September 2018), and has amassed over 300k streams as an independent artist.
J. Human is now based in los Angeles, CA and slated to release his next EP in the Summer of 2020.
